Changes to Maternity Services as GM moves to Very High Covid Alert Level

Our visiting policy is under regular review, in line with recent national guidance we have made changes to our visiting policies in response to the coronavirus pandemic.  This new guidance from 23 October 2020 replaces our earlier guidance.  Our priority is to maintain safety of women, their families and our staff and some continuing changes to visiting are necessary to maintain social distancing and reduce the risk of spreading infection.
